Chevy Malibu headlight trouble
I have a 2004 Chevy Malibu classic that had a burned out low beam headlight. Went to replace the headlight with the bulb I was told by an auto parts store and it didn't fit. I looked at the old bulb and it wasnt the same size. I did some research and found that the size that was in there is actually for a 2003. Well I went and got the right bulb, put it in and it still doesnt work.
A.) Why do i need 2003 bulbs for a 2004?
and
B.) Why would it still not work after a new bulb?
Thanks for the answer to the headlight, but I do have a deliema with seeing the owners manual because I dont have one. I got the car at an auction and it didnt come with. Where exactly would I find the fuse panel in the engine compartment?
If you have the correct bulb in place you should check the owners manual for the fuse location for the side headlamp you replaced. The factory has a fuse for the left and right low and high beams. The engine compartment fuse block location #7 is the left low beam.#9 is the right low beam.Best of luck with your malibu.
