Car audio system help!?

i just bought JL Audio speakers (with two tweeters in the front) and a kenwood radio with a whole bunch of capabilities. the speakers sound great but i wish i could have a little more bass i guess? would a subwoofer be good? i dont know anything about car audio systems i just know what sounds good, i dont want to spend too much money eaither just something wiht a good sound. i dont need anything crazy that my car will be bumping down the street...dont know if it makes a difference but i mainly listen to rock/hard rock/classic rock/punk rock... where should i go next?

okay. well if your budget is small, then go with a pioneer subwoofer or sony xplod. sony can get loud with just one subwoofer. then you have kenwood, their 50-$100 a piece, or kicker got their comp. for $100 each. them you have to get an amp, use your subwoofer to find and amp ex. if your subwoofer is 500w 4ohm then buy a 500w amp that is 4ohm. then you have to get wire and find a box. i would say the cheapest way and a good sub, will be a sony xplod that runs about $70.00 then buy a single box from walmart there about $30.00, and go with either a pioneer 760w amp that about $142.00 or an sony xplod amp 600w that about $98.00 so time your all done with your system you roughly spent $245.00, got to remember all of this stuff is NEW, you can go to a pawn shop and probably get something cheaper, if you have any more Question on subwoofer or need prices email me @ money_maker_316@yahoo. how that help you alot
