How To Make Your Classic Car Turn Heads
My dad had a '67 galaxy 500 and it was his baby. He loved to take it to car shows and let everyone see what a great car he had. The only problem he had was that he wanted to draw some of the younger generation in and get them interested in classics too. He decided that he was gonna try some different lights to see if that would help. When he first started adding them he tried using strobe lights in the headlights that flashed different colors but he found that this put a big drain on his battery. He finally came across LED (light emitting diode) lights and decided to try a set out. He got them, hooked them up and was impressed to find that they didn't use nearly as much energy as the strobes. He also liked the fact that he could still chose the color that helped accent his car. He bought a few more sets and at the next show he couldn't believe how many questions he was getting from the younger visitors at the show. He told them about the car and how many years he'd had it and what work he had put into it. He also told them about the lights he had put on it and how they were hooked up. This was the greatest time he'd ever had. I didn't think he would ever give up that old car we even joked about him being buried in it. Then he came across a young man that fell in love with the car. He followed car shows and always stopped to talk about the galaxy and one day asked dad if he would ever consider selling it. Dad took some time to think about it and decided since his health was starting to fail it was time to turn it over to someone who would care for it the way he did. Every once in a while dad still heads out to the car shows to see his baby and the young man did as he promised, the car is still in great shape and you can still see it at the car shows from time to time, because as dad put it classic cars are beautiful and should be shown off to the world.
