The 1987 Rolls-Royce Silver Spur is a long-wheelbase version and is four inches longer than the Silver Spirit. The Spur is identifiable by its ever-flex roof and extended rear windows. The Silver Spur uses a Girling automatic hydraulic ride height control system along with gas-charged shock absorbers while still retaining the high degree of ride quality and self-leveling suspension that the Silver Shadow offered.

The Rolls-Royce Silver Spur, for the interior, had rich leather seats and deep pile carpets that gave its driver and passengers utmost comfort. It also had a veneer-overed fascia retaining a traditional appearance. The Silver Seraph, first unveiled, on March 31, 1998 at the Geneva Motor Show soon replaced the Silver Spur, which ended production in 1997.

But even with its untimely replacement, there is still no doubt that this is a car that is more famous than you. is it uncool for guys to drive classic VW Beetles?

I recently passed my driving test. I just got my driver's licence in the mail. Now , I'm thinking about buying my first car. My father suggested I buy some "piece of junk" before I get a brand new car.

Well, I'm a fan of anything that's "old fashioned". Beetles are old. They're cheap , good on gas , don't go too fast etc

I've heard Beetles are chick cars. True or false ? I don't like the new beetles. I heard they come with a flower pot vase. Do the old ones have one ? Do you think Beetles are good for first time drivers ? What do the ladies think of guy's driving old vw beetles ?

But better still (from your male point of view), I get more women coming over to ask about my restored Bug then I do from my restored and decidedly masculine Detroit iron (an old El Camino). They are a great conversation starter...

But, you are wrong about it being or becoming a piece of junk. The prices on the old VW's are going UP (even the rustbuckes).. not down. So buy early.
