How do they get airplanes to an airshow?

Do they just fly them from their normal "resting place", or do they drive them on a transport vehicle?

I would imagine the older airplanes would be driven there (like they do with nice classic cars at carshows), and the newer planes are just flown in.

What do you think? And, anyone have any resources on this?

All of the airshows I have been to, the planes were flown in. I never noticed any of the smaller ones being trailored, as to take off the wings and make them ready for trailoring would be very time consuming and expensive. Trailoring is also hard on avionics and who knows what else I have been told.
