Classic Car Wiring Kits

I have a 2005 Chevrolet Classic. The "old" Malibu style. I want to install an aftermarket cd receiver. But?
But after checking with Crutchfield and looking at install kits I'm finding very limited options due to mounting depth. Has anybody installed a deck in this car? What install kit and wire harness did you use. I have put Pioneer 6x9's in the rear deck and will be putting some Infinity 4x6's in the front doors. (rather have components in the front, though) Any help is very welcome, thanks.
Thanks for all the responses! I used a Scosche GM1583B install kit and a Scosche GM09SR harness, with interface. The deck I chose was the Pioneer DEH-P5900IB. Everything went with no problems. There is no mounting depth issue when installing a single DIN receiver. If a double DIN is used then a plastic brace will have to be removed. This might also apply to a one and a half DIN receiver. Thanks again for all of your help.
I've never really had any issues. If you are having trouble making a deck fit, you can go with one of the Alpine IDA decks, which are significantly shorter than standard CD player decks. You will have to cough up some money for the harness however. It usually goes for about $60 at most audio shop. Be sure to pick up a GM antenna adaptor so you're not making a second trip.
