Question for BEATLES fans ~!!!?

Okey, I got both "The Beatles MONO Box Set Limited Edition" and "The Beatles Stereo Box Set". Both are genuine Authentic US Release. (Not Chinese trash).

I just down loaded all of the songs into my iTune on my Mac OS X. Now, how come I could not burn (copy) these music into my CD R (empty disc) ? I wanted each Box set into TWO empty CD Rs.

I know if I set to "audio CD" I can easily burn (copy) all the songs, but will take about 7 or 8 CD Rs for the MONO Set, and probably more for the STEREO Set. I do not want to do that. I just want to make copy and listen to them in my car Stereo ( MP3 compatible ), my living DVD / MP3 / CD R compatible player, and my bed room MP3 / CD R compatible Compact Stereo System. Plus, this way, I get to PRESERVE my original collectible Box sets by putting them away in my glass show case.
