How do I print or order custom flash cards?

I want to have a large amount (in the hundreds) of flashcards with information that i have on my computer, not pre-made. How do I do this? My printer only prints on one side. I know about www.flashcardexchange.com but don't really understand it. To me, it looks like you would print out on regular computer paper and then cut the cards out. Has anyone tried that? Does it work? Also, how do you deal with the two-sided issue?
