Tuner Parts for my....?

I have a 2001 Chevrolet Malibu V6 3100. I have customized it quite a bit cosmetically (Racing Stripes, Custom Interior Paint, Custom Interior lighting, tinted tail lights, exhaust tip and currently I have a K&N High Flow air filter in it, but I was looking into AEM CAIs, and they don't sell one specifically for a 2001 Malibu. Is there a way to tell if parts for other model cars will fit mine?

I'm going to get a whole exhaust kit, from the intake to the tailpipe, the tip is just for looks for now. Im thinking 4 inch downpipes if they will fit, maybe catback exhaust, Im not sure what will work on it Ive never tuned a Domestic 4 door sedan.

well its other companies that make air intakes so just have to look around, but just so you know your not going to feel much different in acceleration with an air intake kit unless you put on an aftermarket exhaust, not just the tip, the actual muffler at least
